3. Can you think of creating a shape that would give a circular shadow if held in one way and a rectangular shadow if held in another way?

Answer: Cylinder shape object. If a cylinder shaped object is held vertically to the source of light (torch) the shadow will be circular and if it held horizontally towards the source light then that shadow will be rectangular.

4. In a completely dark room, if you hold up a mirror in front of you, will you see a reflection of yourself in the mirror?

Answer: No. If there is light, only then the image can be formed and reflected by plane mirrors. In a completely dark room, there is no light available to reflect an image. So, we cannot see our self in the mirror.
